I was standing in the shower last night waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting for the hot water. I was wondering why the water was so cold and why it was taking so darn long for the water to get hot - or at least luke-warm.
Laura came into the bathroom and I complained that the water was taking FOREVER to get hot.
She said "well, did you turn ON the hot water?"
Duh....
I need a vacation.

Too funny! That's like the other day when I opened the fridge to find that I had placed the hotpads in there while I was tidying the kitchen in the morning!
